vineyards

There are lots of vineyards in California.

We pulled into a turnout for a break.

Wow, they're tall.

Hi! everyone.

Part of the coast as we drove Route 1.

Climbing back up the hill

Reading the newest Harry Potter book.

We camped at the VanDamme State Park in their en route parking lot.

What a great view of the Pacific.

Marla explored the beach there...

even though it was rather cold.

Scenes from Highway 101

After spending the night in Eureka, we entered the Redwood Forest.

We stopped for a break in the foggy fog on top of a mountain.

Further down the road we found a tourist stop called the Trees of Mystery in Klamath, CA that had huge Paul Bunyan and Babe statues.

This grove was absolutely beautiful. It had a 0.75 mile trail that looped through it.

We decided to go in and try to find Little Red Riding Hood's Grandmother's house.

Marla brought her balloon that she had from her last trip to Applebee's.

This was neat.

Hi, Grandpa!

Scenes from Route 199

We entered Oregon on Route 199.

Part of the road collapsed ahead, we had a one lane passage.

Welcome to Oregon

We have arrived in Ashland.
