Salt Lake City

From Ashland, OR to Salt Lake City, UT in 3 days.		Mount Shasta in California	Lake Shasta
We stopped at Donner Lake by Donner Pass.		Welcome To Nevada	We mostly just drove through Nevada
	And then we went to Utah
The Bonneville Slat Flats Speedway
The salt looked like ice. It felt like we were in the Arctic, except that it was very warm. There was water, which neither of us expected. We all splashed around in it.


	Marla found a big "rock" of salt.	This truck drove through it from the other side.	It isn't very deep and they have cones in it to show where you should drive.

Temple Square - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
			The Mormon Tabernacle
		Marla loves fountains.
	There were several water features throughout the square.	I think we stopped at every one of them.
		Inside the Tabernacle.
		During the day they have organ performances. Before the performance starts, they stand up at the front and rip paper and drop pins so that you can hear how good the acoustics are. The performance was incredible.
Lakeside RV Park
This RV park was very nice. It had a wonderful pool.

	We're off to the pool.		Marla learned how to kick and paddle on her own here.
Once she figured it out, she didn't want to stop.
		Her new raft.	She really enjoyed climbing on to it and then jumping off again.
